About

I am an experienced Adult Services Assistant, having worked in this role for five years across three diverse libraries: the first in Bend, Oregon, the second in Southeast Georgia, and finally, my current employer in Chicago’s North Shore (my homeland). Each of these experiences has enriched my understanding of library services and the unique needs of different communities.

I am currently working on my Master of Library and Information Science. This program has an e-Portfolio as a graduation requirement. The e-Portfolio is a comprehensive collection of my academic and professional work, including my resume, reflections on my experiences, and my goals and outcomes. Once complete, this project will be a testament to my growth and learning in library science. It will live here, under the resume, reflection, and goals & outcomes pages.

This blog serves a specific purpose- to support my e-Portfolio project. It’s a space where I can store my notes about my experiences, document my progress through the program and my work, and ultimately, make the creation of that e-Portfolio a smoother process.
